Privacy policy

RV Park Terms (rvparkterms.com) is run by Milan Georgijevic in Belgrade, Serbia, who is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@rvparkterms.com.

• Analytics, only if you allow it. Google Analytics records which pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, and your approximate location (worked out from your IP address). It sets cookies (_ga, _ga_…) that last up to two years. If you choose "No thanks", it doesn't load at all. You can change your choice any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
• Reports you send through "Is something here wrong?" on a park page: what you write and, if you give it, your email address. We use them to re-check the park and, if needed, to ask you about your report. We keep a report only as long as we need it to re-check, and no longer than 12 months.
• Emails you send us at hello@rvparkterms.com. We use them to reply.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical details of each request (IP address, browser, page, time) to keep the site running and secure, for a limited time.
• Maps. When you open a map, your browser loads map tiles from OpenFreeMap, which sees your IP address like any website you visit. The map only loads if you click to open it.

We don't sell personal data, don't use advertising cookies and don't build profiles of visitors. To stop spam, the report form counts submissions per visitor in memory for an hour; nothing from that is stored.

For visitors covered by the GDPR or similar laws: analytics runs on your consent; reports, emails and server logs rely on our legitimate interests in running the site, keeping its facts accurate and preventing abuse.

• Google (Analytics), which may process data in the United States under its data processing terms.
• Our hosting provider, which stores the site, its database and its server logs.
• Our email provider, which delivers and stores the emails you send us.
• Parks and booking sites: when you click a booking link, you leave RV Park Terms, and the park's or booking site's own privacy policy applies from there. We don't send them anything about you (see the affiliate disclosure).

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to or restrict how we use it, or get a copy of it. You can withdraw your analytics consent at any time under “Cookie settings”. Email hello@rvparkterms.com; we answer within 30 days.

You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Serbia, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection; in the EU or UK, the authority where you live.

US residents (for example in California): we don't sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, and you can ask what we hold about you or ask us to delete it.

RV Park Terms isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
